Eight years in India, and the same five people at the top of it.

Redrob is built by 102 people across three entities, 79% of them in India. We bootstrapped here for six years before taking outside capital, and we are three years into the venture journey.

What we are building

Every internet era hands its value to whoever owns the first screen. India has a champion in every vertical and nothing sitting above them. That seat has been open for twenty years, and an agent is the first thing that can take it. We came in through work because it is the question people bring first, and because getting it right is the hardest way to prove an agent is worth trusting with the rest of the day.

India will have a front page. We are building it.

Why India, and why this shape.

Three facts decided how this company is built. None of them is about the model.

  1. 01

    The first screen is unclaimed.

India has a leader in commerce, payments, mobility, content and hiring, and nothing sitting above them. The layer that reads a stated intent and assembles the services behind it has been empty for twenty years.

  2. 02

    Cost is an engineering problem.

A frontier stack costs the same to run in Delhi as it does in Denver, and the industry read that and concluded India could not be served. The correct conclusion was narrower. What it costs to answer a question is an engineering decision, and it is the one we spent three years on.

  3. 03

    The rails are already public.

Aadhaar for identity, UPI for payments, ONDC for commerce and APAAR for academic records are national infrastructure, published open and free to build on. We build the interface that sits above them. The state already shipped the rest.

How it was built.

Three moments, eight years apart end to end.

  1. Founded

The employer-of-record business was built on customer revenue, with no institutional capital behind it. Foreign companies hired in India through us, and every role they opened became a listing only we had.

  2. The agent

Korean institutional investors came in and we built the hiring agent on top of the supply we already owned. Job Search and Skill Tests launched the same year.

  3. The surfaces

Four more surfaces shipped, our own model stack reached third worldwide among open-source models, and we raised our Series A2.

Leadership.

The same five people have run this company for eight years, through the collapse of the outsourcing model and the boom that replaced it.

    Felix Kim

Yonsei, BBA and JD. A practising attorney and a board member of the Korean Bar Association, which is why labor and entity compliance is run in house rather than outsourced.

  • Photo pending

    Seunghyun Seok

Yonsei, College of Educational Sciences. Serial founder. Owns the surface roadmap and the gate every new product has to pass before it ships.

  • Photo pending

    Janghoon Lee

Minerva, BS Computer Science and MS Data Science. Shipped four model families and the image model that placed third worldwide among open-source models.

  • Photo pending

    Kartikey Handa

McGill, MEng. Former Fiat Motors executive. Runs the 81-person field organisation and the campus network behind it.

Harvard, Economics and Sociology. Citigroup. Founded and exited The Ivy Key after fifteen years. Owns the US enterprise channel.

Between two governments.

The Korea-India corridor is not a market we entered. It is the one we were asked to speak for.

  • The 2026 state summit

Redrob was chosen to present the talent agenda at the state summit between President Lee Jae Myung and Prime Minister Modi. When two governments needed someone to speak for this corridor, they picked us.

  • Research paid for by grant

$2.1M of Korean government research funding paid for the model stack, won across four competitive programmes rather than raised, Scale-up TIPS among them. Research runs jointly with Seoul National University and Yonsei.

  • A seat at the table

A Minister of Science and ICT commendation, and a standing place on Ministry of SMEs and Startups delegations to India, including the hiring session we ran at IIT Delhi.
