Mark without uploading a student's script

Answer scripts are minors' data in a school and identifiable data everywhere. Inference runs on your machine, so marking does not become a transfer.

Questions people actually ask

Do student scripts leave my laptop?

No. Redrob Office reads them on the device. For a school this matters more than for most workplaces, because the data belongs to minors and consent is the parent's to give.

Does it help with the Career Advancement Scheme paperwork?

With the assembling, yes. It reads your publication records, appraisal reports and course files and drafts the appraisal proforma against them. It does not score you, and the Screening-cum-Evaluation Committee is still the committee.

Can it read a similarity report?

Yes, including the AI-detection report generated alongside it. Worth knowing that the University Grants Commission's national plagiarism licence covers doctoral, post-doctoral and faculty work rather than undergraduate and postgraduate submissions, so most teaching-side checking is on you.
