Redrob was chosen to present the talent agenda at the 2026 state summit between President Lee Jae Myung and Prime Minister Modi.

When two governments needed somebody to speak for the corridor between them, they picked the company that has been operating inside it for eight years.

What the corridor actually is

Korea has capital, manufacturing depth and an ageing workforce. India has 12 million people finishing a degree every year and a labour market that has stopped absorbing them the way it used to. Only 3.7% of graduates hold a white-collar job within a year.

Those two facts are a trade, and almost nobody is set up to run it. Korean companies expanding into India need staff, an entity, payroll and somebody who understands Indian labour law. Indian graduates need employers who will hire them into real roles rather than intermediated contracts.

Redrob sits on both sides of that. Our Korean entity handles strategy and model research. Our Indian entity, 81 people, runs the field organisation, the campus network and the employer-of-record desk that legally employs staff for foreign companies. We are not a broker between the two ends. We are the employer at one end and the platform at the other.

What we said

The argument we took into the room was narrow and it was about verification.

Cross-border hiring fails on trust before it fails on anything else. A company in Seoul cannot assess a candidate in Coimbatore, and a candidate in Coimbatore has no way to make a claim that a company in Seoul will believe. The usual fix is an agency, which adds a margin and solves nothing.

Credentials fix it properly. Paid, proctored, human-reviewed, co-issued with an institution whose name means something on both sides, and portable off any single platform. Get that right and the corridor stops needing an intermediary to function.

The relationships behind it

The summit was not our first room with either government.

$2.1M of non-dilutive Korean government funding paid for our model stack, through Scale-up TIPS, Blockchain PoC, the Startup Leap Package and Purchase-Conditioned R&D. The work carries a Minister of Science and ICT commendation, and research on the models runs jointly with Seoul National University and Yonsei.

We also hold a standing place on Ministry of SMEs and Startups delegations to India. One of those produced the hiring session we ran at IIT Delhi, which is one of the 400 campuses we work on directly.

Eight years of that is what it takes before anybody invites you to speak for a corridor.
