Our history
The pivotal milestones of Redrob’s journey that have forged our unique identity and values.
2018 - Founded
Redrob was founded in 2018 (in Seoul, South Korea) by Felix Kim and co-founders. The mission was to build AI-driven tools for global recruitment, talent search, and lead discovery.
2018–2022 - Early Growth & Product Development
During these years, Redrob developed its core platform focused on global people search, recruitment tools, and talent discovery originally under the umbrella of a recruitment / assessment platform. The company grew its user base in the U.S., India, and South Korea.
Dec 2023 - $4M Seed Funding
Redrob completed a $4M seed funding round led by Murex Partners and DS & Partners. This funding was aimed at expanding its AI-powered people discovery and online skill assessment products.
2024 - Product Expansion & Events
Redrob continued to expand its platform and global presence.
In March 2024, the company hosted a software talent recruitment fair in India to promote domestic startups’ access to top talent.
2025 - Series A & Major Growth
October 2025 — Redrob launched “Redrob 2.0”, a more advanced people search engine and AI product suite that supports verified contact discovery for sales and recruitment.
November 2025 — Redrob raised a $10 million Series A round led by Korea Investment Partners, with participation from KB Investment, Kiwoom Investment, Korea Development Bank Capital, and DS & Partners. This brought total funding to approximately $14M and scaled the company’s AI infrastructure and global reach.
2026 - Towards Series B
